FreedomPop has officially announced its latest smartphone, Privacy Phone that features an integrated VPN for extra security. It is a modified version of Samsung’s second generation Galaxy SII smartphone and is also known as Snowden Phone. The Privacy phone encrypts communication for voice calls and uses 128-bit encryption, the same encryption that is trusted by banks and government agencies. It enables anonymous internet browsing wherever you go and prevents online marketers from tracking your web activity. The Privacy Phone defends against data monitoring from third parties and bypasses any website restrictions and connect to any site online. Al the internet data will be sent via a secured encrypted VPN. The Privacy Phone will go on sale in the US for $189, including three months of free unlimited calls/texts and 500MB of data. A fee of $10 will be applied afterwards. Stay tuned for more updates.
