The YotaPhone 2 is the latest flagship smartphone from Russian manufacturer Yota featuring a dual screen (LCD + E-ink display) and Android 4.4 KitKat OS. In size, it measures 144 x 69.6 x 8.9 mm and weighs only 139g. The YotaPhone 2 features a 5-inch AMOLED display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and 4.7-inch qHD e-ink display with resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. The e-ink display at back is now fully touch responsive. It is powered by a 2.3GHz quad core Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB RAM. For multimedia, YotaPhone 2 packs an 8 Mega Pixel rear camera capable of shooting HD videos and 2 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, NFC technology and 3G mobile connections.
The YotaPhone 2 comes pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS. For storage, it comes with a 32GB internal memory. In addition to that it comes with a powerful 2500mAh battery. With Smart Power Mode, users can turn off energy consuming LCD display and use e-ink display to preserve battery life. The YotaPhone 2 will go on sale in Europe and Russia in Q4 of 2014.
