LG L Series III Official

LG has officially announced L Series III which features low and mid-range smartphones running Google’s latest Android KitKat OS. It consists of three budget friendly smartphones – L40, L70 and L90. The LG Series III smartphones comes pre-installed with Android 4.4 KitKat OS. I’m addition to that all L Series III will support LG’s Quick Window Smart Covers.

The LG L40 packs a 3.5-inch display with resolution of 480 x 320 pixels. In size, it measures 109.4 x 59 x 11.9mm. The LG L40 is powered by 1.2GHz dual core processor and 512MB processor. For multimedia, it features a 3 Mega pixel rear camera and VGA front facing camera for video calls. For connectivity, LG L40 supports 3G and HSDPA mobile connections. In addition to that it comes with a 1700mAh non removable or 1500mAh removable battery depending on the region.

The LG L70 features a 4.5-inch IPS display with resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. In size, it measures 127.2 x 66.8 x 9.5mm. The L70 is powered by 1.2GHz dual core processor and 1GB RAM. For multimedia, it packs an 8 Mega Pixel rear camera with LED flash and VGA front facing camera for video calls. The LG L70 comes with a powerful 2100mAh removable battery. For connectivity, it supports 3G and HSPA mobile connections.

The LG L90 packs a 4.7-inch IPS display with resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. In size, it measures 131.6 x 66.0 x 9.7mm. The LG L90 is powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor and 1GB RAM. For multimedia, it packs an 8 Mega Pixel rear camera and 1.3 Mega pixel front facing camera for video calls. For connectivity, LG L90 supports 3G and HSPA mobile connections. In addition to that it comes with a powerful 2540mAh removable battery.

There is no official information available on pricing and availability but LG is expected to unveil Series III at Mobile World Congress In Barcelona. Stay tuned for more updates.
