LG has officially announced that it will unveil its next flagship phablet LG G Pro 2 at Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona later next month. It will be the successor to original G Pro which was launched last year at MWC 2013. The specifications and availability of LG G Pro 2 are still unknown but it is rumored to be the first LG smartphone to feature a fingerprint scanner for extra security. The LG G Pro will feature a 5.9-inch full HD display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s quad core Snapdragon 800 processor and 3GB RAM. The LG G Pro 2 will come pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS. The Mobile World Congress 2014 event will take place from February 24th through February 26th 2014 in Barcelona, Spain. Stay tuned for more updates.
Update : LG is expected to launch its next flagship phablet LG G Pro 2 at a press event in Korea on February 13th 2014. Invitations to the press event which will be held at the LG Twin Towers in Yeouido, Seoul, have been sent out this week.
