The Lumia Icon is rumored to be the next premium smartphone from Finnish manufacturer Nokia featuring Microsoft’s Windows Phone OS. It will be the first Nokia smartphone to feature a 5-inch display. The Lumia Icon will feature a 5-inch full HD display with the resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It will be powered by 2.2GHz quad core processor and 2GB RAM. For multimedia, Lumia Icon will pack a 20 Mega Pixel rear camera capable of shooting 1080p videos and a 2 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, NFC technology and LTE mobile connections. The Lumia Icon will be available to purchase in the US via Verizon Wireless. Update : Nokia has officially launched Lumia Icon as an exclusive device for US Carrier Verizon Wireless. In size, it measures 137 x 71 x 9.8mm and weighs 170g. The Lumia Icon features a 5-inch Full HD display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by Qualcomm’s 2.2GHz quad core Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB RAM. For multimedia, Lumia Icon packs a 20 Mega Pixel rear camera with dual LED flash and 1.2 Mega Pixel front facing HD camera for Skype video calls. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/GPS-A, NFC technology and LTE mobile connections. The Lumia Icon comes pre-installed with Windows Phone 8 OS (Lumia Black Update). For storage it comes with 32GB built-in memory and 7GB OneDrive storage. In addition to that it comes with a powerful 2400mAh battery that gives talk time of up to 16 hours. The Lumia Icon is now available to purchase from Verizon Wireless for $149.99 plus 2-year contract.
