The Sony Sirius is rumored to be the codename for the next flagship smartphone from Japanese giant Sony featuring Google’s latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS. It will be the successor to Sony’s current flagship smartphone Xperia Z. The Sony Sirius is expected to feature a 5.2-inch display. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s quad core MSM8974AB processor (which is slightly faster than Snapdragon 800 CPU) and 3GB RAM. Rest of the specifications are unknown but it is expected to launch at Mobile World Congress in February 2014. Stay tuned for more updates.
Update : The Xperia Z2 is rumored to be the official name for Sony’s next flagship smartphone. It will feature a 5.2-inch QHD display with the resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. For multimedia, the Xperia Z2 will pack a 20 Mega Pixel rear camera.
