The Oppo R1 is the latest mid range smartphone from Chinese manufacturer Oppo featuring Google’s Android 4.2 OS. In size, it measures 142.7 x 70.4 x 7.1mm and weighs 140g. Unlike the flagship Oppo N1, the R1 features a 5-inch IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by MediaTek’s 1.3GHz quad core processor and 1GB RAM. For multimedia, the R1 packs an 8 Mega Pixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and a 5 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls. For storage, it comes with a 16GB built-in memory and micro-SD card slot. The R1 comes pre-installed with Android 4.2 OS. In addition to that it comes with a powerful 2400mAh battery. The Oppo R1 is now available to purchase in China from Oppo’s online store for CNY 2498 ($410). Stay tuned for more updates.
