The Xplay 3S is the world’s first smartphone to feature a 2K (2560 X 1440 pixels) display. It is the successor to Vivo’s last flagship Vivo X3. The Xplay 3S features a 6-inch display with the resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. It is powered by 2.3GHz quad core Snapdragon 800 processor and 3GB RAM. For multimedia, Xplay 3S packs a f/1.8 13 Mega Pixel rear camera capable of shooting 1080p videos and 5 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/GPS-A and LTE mobile connections. The Xplay 3S comes pre-installed with Vivo’s Funtouch OS which is based on Google’s Android OS. In addition to that it comes with a fingerprint scanner at back which can be used to unlock the device and sensitive files. The Xplay 3S packs a powerful 3200mAh battery that gives talk time of up to 15 hours. For storage, it comes with a 32GB built-in memory. The Xplay 3S will soon go on sale in China for $580.
