Galaxy Core Advance is the latest budget friendly smartphone from Korean giant Samsung featuring Google’s Android 4.2 OS. In size, it measures, 133.3 x 70.5 x 9.7mm and weighs 145g. The Galaxy Core Advance also incorporates physical keys for frequently used features on the smartphone. Dedicated keys for voice recorder, camera, volume, menu, home and power functions are available on the front and side of the smartphone. The Galaxy Core Advance features a 4.7-inch TFT display with the resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It is powered by 1.2GHz dual core processor and 1GB RAM. For multimedia, Galaxy Core Advance packs a 5 Mega Pixel rear camera and front facing VGA camera for video calls. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/GLONASS, USB 2.0, NFC technology and 3G(HSDPA) mobile connections. The Galaxy Core Advance comes pre-installed with Android 4.2 OS and a range of smart features like S Voice, S Translator, Sound & Shot, Group Play and Easy Mode. It also provides convenient usability functions and enhanced accessibility features for disabled and visually impaired users. The key features include optical scan that automatically recognizes text from an image and reads it aloud to the user, Light sensing technology that uses Galaxy Core Advance’s camera to sense light direction and brightness and instant voice recorder to make quick voice notes. For storage, the Galaxy Core Advance comes with an 8GB built-in memory and micro-SD card slot. In addition to that it comes with a 2000mAh battery. The Galaxy Core Advance will be available in two different color options – Deep Blue and Pearl White. It will go on sale in selected markets in early 2014. Stay tuned for more updates.
