Huawei has officially announced a pair of new smartphones for its Honor Series. The Honor 3X and Honor 3C are the latest smartphones from the Chinese manufacturer featuring Google’s Android operating system.
Huawei Honor 3X
The Honor 3X features a 5.5-inch IPS display with the resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by MediaTek’s 1.7GHz octa core processor and 2GB RAM. For multimedia, Honor 3X packs a 13 Mega Pixel rear camera capable of shooting 1080p videos and front facing camera 5 Mega Pixel camera for video calls. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/GPS-A and dual SIM functionality (supports both Mini and Micro SIMs). The Honor 3X comes pre-installed with Google’s Android 4.2 OS. In addition to that it packs a powerful 3000mAh battery. The Honor 3X is expected to go on sale in China for CNY 1700 ($280).
Huawei Honor 3C
The Honor 3C features a 5-inch LTPS display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by 1.3GHz quad core MT6582 processor and 1GB RAM. For multimedia, Honor 3C packs an 8 Mega Pixel rear camera and 5 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/GPS-A, Dual SIM functionality. The Honor 3C comes pre-installed with Android 4.2 OS. For storage, it comes with a 1GB or 2GB built in memory and micro SD card slot. In addition to that it packs a 2300mAh battery. The Honor 3C will be available for pre-order starting tomorrow for CNY 800 ($130 for 1GB variant) or CNY 1000 ($160 for 2GB variant) from online retailer JD.com and Vmall.com.
