Asus PadFone Mini Official


PadFone Mini is the latest mid-range smartphone/tablet hybrid from Taiwanese manufacturer Asus featuring Google’s Android OS. It was previously rumored few days ago. In size, the phone measures 129.3 x 65.6 x 8.7mm and weighs only 105g. The PadFone Mini features a 4.3-inch IPS display with resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. It is powered by 1.4GHz quad core Snapdragon 400 MSM8226 processor and 1GB RAM. For multimedia, PadFone Mini packs an 8 Mega Pixel rear camera with BSI Sensor and 2 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/GPS-A, Dual SIM support and 3G mobile connections. The PadFone Mini comes pre-installed with Android 4.3 OS. For storage, it comes with 16GB built-in memory and micro-SD card slot. The PadFone Mini packs a 1500mAh battery. The PadFone Mini comes with a tablet dock that features a 7-inch display with resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The dock is also equipped with a 2200mAh battery. The PadFone Mini will be available to purchase in Taiwan, China, Russia, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Singapore in the coming weeks. It will go on sale in Taiwan for NTD 11,900 (approx. $400).
