G2 Mini is rumored to be the next mid-range smartphone from Korean manufacturer LG featuring Google’s Android OS. It is also known by its codename LG-D410. The G2 Mini will be a mini version of LG’s latest flagship smartphone LG G2 (pictured above). The G2 Mini will feature a 4.7-inch HD display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB RAM. The G2 Mini will come pre-installed with Android 4.3 OS. Rest of the specifications are unknown but LG is expected to launch G2 Mini at CES 2014 in January next year. Stay tuned for more updates.
Update : According to GFX benchmark site, the D-410 will feature a qHD display (960 x 540 pixels) and will be powered by Qualcomm’s 1.2GHz quad core Snapdragon 400 processor. It will come pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS.
Update : LG is expected to launch its next mid range smartphone later this month at Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona. It is also rumored to be known by its model number LG-D620.
Update : LG’s next mid range smartphone G2 Mini will be officially announced at Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona on February 24th. The Korean company has published a teaser (pictured below) for the LG G2 Mini on its official Facebook page. There is no official information available on the specs.
