Medion Lifetab is the latest low-cost tablet from UK’S budget supermarket chain Aldi featuring Google’s Android OS. It is priced at £79.99 and will compete against other budget friendly 7-inch tablets like Google Nexus 7, Amazon Kindle Fire HD and Tesco Hudl. In size, it measures 190.5 x 122 x 10.6mm and weighs only 312g. The Medion Lifetab features a 7-inch display with resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. It is powered by 1.6GHz quad core processor and 1GB RAM. For multimedia, Medion Lifetab packs a 2 Mega Pixel rear camera and 0.3 Mega Pixel front facing VGA camera for video calls. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and micro-USB port. The Medion Lifetab comes pre-installed with Android 4.2.2 OS and has full access to the Google Play Store with over 850,000 standard Android apps. It also comes with Kaspersky’s Tablet security app for extra security. For storage, it comes with 8GB built-in memory and micro-SD card slot.
