Moto G is the latest mid-range smartphone from Google owned Motorola featuring Android 4.3 OS. It was previously rumored few weeks ago. In size, it measures 129.9 x 65.9 x 11.6mm and weighs 143g. The Moto G features a 4.5-inch HD display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (326ppi pixel density). It is powered by 1.2GHz quad core Snapdragon 400 processor and 1GB RAM. For multimedia, Moto G packs a 5 Mega Pixel rear camera capable of shooting HD videos and 1.3 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 4.0 LE, Wifi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, GLONASS, microUSB 2.0 and 3G/HSPA+ mobile connections. The Moto G comes pre-installed with Android 4.3 OS. It will be upgraded to Android 4.4 KitKat by the end of January 2014. In addition to that it comes with a powerful 2070mAh battery. The Moto G goes on sale this week in Brazil and parts of Europe. Update : Motorola has officially launched a Google Play Edition (GPE) of its latest budget friendly smartphone Moto G. It comes pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS. The Moto G GPE is now available to purchase in the US for $180 (8GB) or $200 (16GB).
