Japan Display is the world’s first manufacturer to develop screens with highest resolution density of 543ppi expected to feature in next generation smartphones. The new display allows users to enjoy precise and dynamic images featuring the world’s highest resolution density of 543ppi. The display’s low temperature poly silicon technology enables low power consumption due to increased panel transmissivity. In size, the 5.4-inch display module measures 126.67 x 69.59 x 1.12 mm and comes with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels (543ppi pixel density). In addition to that, Japan Display has also developed another high density LCD module for next generation phablets. It features 6.2-inch display with a resolution 2560 x 1440 pixels (473ppi pixel density). Both these displays are in development and are expected to feature in smartphones by the end of 2014 or early 2015. Stay tuned for more updates or follow @harrym20 on Twitter.
