HTC is rumored to be developing a SmartWatch featuring Google’s Android operating system. The SmartWatch trend is gaining momentum since the launch of Pebble e-paper watch earlier this year. Samsung’s attempt with Galaxy Gear is not as successful as the korean company expected. HTC SmartWatch is rumored to be feature a camera. Update : According to a new report from Bloomberg , HTC will showcase its first SmartWatch to carriers next week at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. According to a source, “a SmartWatch prototype based on Qualcomm Toq will be previewed to carriers at Mobile World Congress trade show, with no plans to unveil the device publicly.”
Update : According to new rumors, HTC’s debut SmartWatch will be officially known as HTC One Wear. The design of One Wear will be similar to Motorola’s Moto 360. It is expected to go on sale in selected regions during second half of 2014.

According to a new Bloomberg report, HTC will unveil it’s first wearable product (SmartWatch) at Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona this coming March. It will be launched alongside the next flagship smartphone, codenamed HTC One M9.
