iPad Air is the fifth generation tablet from Cupertino giant Apple featuring the next generation iOS 7 operating system. In size, it measures 240 x 169.5 x 7.5mm and weighs only 469g. The iPad Air features a 9.7-inch Retina display with resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels (264ppi pixel density). It is powered by a new A7 processor with 64-bit architecture and M7 motion coprocessor. For multimedia, iPad Air packs a 5 Mega Pixel iSight camera at back capable of shooting 1080p videos and a 1.2 Mega Pixel front facing camera for FaceTime calls. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi 802.11 b/g/n, MIMO support and LTE mobile connections.
The iPad Air comes pre-installed with latest iOS 7 operating system. In addition to that it comes with a powerful 32.4-Wh rechargeable battery that gives up to 10 hours of surfing the web on Wifi. The iPad Air will be available in multi-color options like silver, white, gray and black. The prices start from $499 (£310) and it will be available to purchase in several countries including the US, UK, China and Japan from November 1st.
