One Max is the latest flagship phablet from Taiwanese manufacturer HTC featuring fingerprint scanner for the first time. It was previously rumored few months ago. In size, it measures 164.5 x 82.5 x 10.29mm and weighs 217g. The HTC One Max features a 5.9-inch full HD display with the resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by 1.7GHz quad core Snapdragon 600 processor and 2GB RAM. The One Max is the first HTC smartphone to feature fingerprint scanner. The scanner can do lot more than just unlock your device. The owner can assign three different apps that can be launched depending on the finger you swipe. For multimedia, One Max features HTC’s familiar UltraPixel camera with f/2.0 aperture and front facing 2.1 Mega Pixel camera for video calls. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, DLNA, microUSB 2.0, MHL port, GPS-A, NFC technology and LTE mobile connections. The HTC One Max comes pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 4.3 OS and HTC Sense 5.5 UI. Additionally, other features include BlinkFeed, HTC Zoe with sequence shot, Smart Flash, full Google+ support, BoomSound Dual frontal speakers and built-in amplifiers Sense Voice. For storage, it comes with 16GB or 32GB built-in memory and microSD card slot. The HTC One Max packs a powerful 3300mAh non removable battery that gives talk time of up to 25 hours and Standby time of up to 585 hours. In addition to that it will come with an optional cover with an additional built in 1200mAh battery. The HTC One Max will go on sale in UK by the end of this week.
