Galaxy Note 3 is the latest flagship phablet from korean giant Samsung featuring Google’s Android 4.3 OS. It was previously rumored few months ago. The Galaxy Note 3 comes with a faux leather back which is more elegant than the plastic used in current flagship Samsung Galaxy S4. In size, it measures 152.4 x 79.2 x 8.3mm and weighs 167g. The Galaxy Note 3 features a 5.7-inch full HD display with the resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (386ppi pixel density). It is powered by 2.3GHz quad core Snapdragon 800 processor for LTE version or a 1.9GHz octa core processor for 3G version and 3GB RAM. For multimedia, Galaxy Note 3 packs a 13 Mega Pixel rear camera with Samsung’s Smart Stabilization technology and 2.1 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi 802.11 b/g/n, NFC technology, GPS-A and LTE mobile connections. The Galaxy Note 3 comes pre-installed with Android 4.3 OS and Samsung KNOX security software. In addition to that it comes with S Pen with optimized features like Air Command, Action Memo, Scrapbook, Screen Write, S Finder, Pen Window, S Note and Multi Window. For storage, it packs a 32GB or 64GB built-in memory and microSD card slot. The Galaxy Note 3 comes with a powerful 3200mAh removable battery. The Galaxy Note 3 will go on sale in more than 140 countries starting from September 25th 2013. It will be available to purchase in different colors like Black, White and Blush pink. Update : Samsung has officially announced that it has sold 10 million Galaxy Note 3 phablets within two months of availability. In comparison, Galaxy Note II took nearly twice as long to sell 10 million units. The Galaxy Note 3 is currently available to purchase in 58 countries from all leading mobile operators.
