The Liquid S2 is world’s first smartphone to record 4K videos with resolution of 4096 x 2304 pixels. It is the latest flagship phablet from Taiwanese manufacturer Acer featuring Google’s Android 4.2 OS. In size, Liquid S2 measures 166 x 86 x 8.99mm and weighs 142g. It was previously rumored rumored few weeks ago. The Liquid S2 features a 6-inch IPS display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (368ppi pixel density). It is powered by 2.2 quad core Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB RAM. For multimedia, Liquid S2 packs a 13 Mega Pixel camera at back capable of shooting 4K videos and 2 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS-A, NFC technology and LTE mobile connections. The Liquid S2 comes pre-installed with Android 4.2 and Acer Float UI. In addition to that it comes with a powerful 3300mAh non removable battery. The Liquid S2 will go on sale at the end of October. The exact pricing and availability will be announced at a later stage.
