New Nexus 7

New Nexus 7 is the second generation tablet from Google featuring latest Android 4.3 OS. It was previously leaked few weeks ago and will be the successor to Nexus 7. In size, it measures 7.9 x 4.5 x 0.3 inches and weighs 11.2 ounces (318g). The 2013 Nexus 7 features a 7-inch HD display with resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels (323ppi pixel density). It is powered by Qualcomm’s 1.5GHz quad core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and 2GB RAM. For multimedia, new Nexus 7 packs a 5 Mega Pixel rear camera and 1.2 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS-A, NFC technology, optional LTE mobile connection. For storage, 2013 Nexus 7 comes with an option of 16 or 32GB built-in memory. The new Nexus 7 comes pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 4.3 OS. In addition to that it supports Wireless Charging. The new Nexus 7 will be available for pre-order in US starting July 30th and prices start from $229.99 for 16GB version or $269.99 for 32GB version or $349.99 for LTE version. Update : The second generation Nexus 7 is now available to purchase from Google Play store.

Update : Google is working on a fix regarding GPS issues faced by new Nexus 7 buyers. Several users report that the GPS will work fine for about 10-30 minutes and then will go back to Searching mode. Sometimes a reboot will fix the this issue of some people but not for everyone.
