HTC One is the latest flagship smartphone from Taiwanese manufacturer HTC featuring Google’s Jelly Bean OS. In size, it measures 137.4 x 68.2 x 9.3 mm and weighs 143g. The HTC One features 4.7-inch Super LCD3 display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (~468 ppi pixel density). It is powered by 1.7GHz quad core Snapdragon 600 processor and 2GB RAM. For multimedia, HTC One packs 4MP Ultrapixel camera at back and 2.1 MP front facing HD camera for video calls. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi 802.11 b/g/n, microUSB 2.0, GPS technology and LTE mobile connections. The HTC One comes pre-installed with Google’s Android 4.1 OS and Sense 5 UI. For storage, it has 32 or 64GB built-in memory. In addition to that HTC One packs a powerful 2300mAh battery that gives talk time of up to 18 hours on 3G network. HTC One is now available in White or Black from all leading mobile operators. The company has also announced that a new color option in form of ‘glamor Red’ will be available to purchase from July 2013. It will be exclusively available from UK carrier Phones4u. The Taiwanese company will only be manufacturing five of these gold plated One smartphones, built to celebrate the 18th anniversary of the MOBO (Music Of Black Origins) awards. This extremely limited edition HTC One smartphone is priced at £2750.

Update : HTC officially announced a new Dual SIM variant of its latest flagship smartphone to boost sales in the UK. HTC’s dual active solution offers complete flexibility. Users can receive calls from either SIM card at any given time and switch seamlessly between both SIM cards while you talk. The on-board Dual Network manager allows an user to select a preferred network and personalize the name of each SIM, making it easy to switch between the networks. Unlike the latest HTC One, the Dual SIM variant comes with a micro-SD card slot. The Dual SIM HTC One is now available for pre-order in the UK for 494.99 ($810).
