Xperia ZU is rumored to be the next flagship phablet from Japanese manufacturer Sony featuring Google’s Jelly Bean OS. It was previously rumored few weeks ago. Xperia ZU will be the first Sony smartphone to feature 6.44-inch display and the design is similar to current flagship Xperia Z. It is rumored to feature a 6.44inch full HD display with the resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (342ppi pixel density). It will be powered by quad core Snapdragon 600 processor and 2GB RAM. For multimedia it will pack 8 Mega Pixel Exmor RS rear camera and 1.3 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls. For storage, Xperia ZU will come with 16GB built-in memory and microSD card slot. Update : New leaks suggest that Xperia ZU will be powered by 2.2GHz quad core Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB RAM. In addition to that it will come with powerful 3000mAh non-removable battery.
Update : The following screenshots allegedly taken on Sony Xperia ZU confirms the existence of over 6-inch display and 1.9GHz quad core Snapdragon 800 processor.
