Moto X

Moto X will be the next flagship smartphone from Motorola featuring Google’s Jelly Bean OS. It was previously rumored back in March and is also known by its model number XT1058. The Moto X is rumored to feature a 4.7-inch HD display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It will be powered by quad core processor and 2GB RAM. According to leaked image (Image credit : Engadget), the Moto X will come pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 4.2 OS. For connectivity, it will support Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS technology, NFC technology and LTE mobile connections. There is no further information available on the handset but Google is expected to launch Moto X in Q3 of 2013. Motorola’s CEO Dennis Woodside confirms the existence of Moto X while speaking at D11 conference. He also said that Moto X will be a true game changer. Update : According to @evleaks, Motorola’s next flagship will feature a 4.7-inch display with 720p resolution. It is rumored to be powered by 1.7GHz dual core MSM8960 Pro processor and 2GB RAM. Moto X will also pack 10MP rear camera and 2MP front facing camera.

Update : Motorola’s next flagship smartphone Moto X can be fully customazable according to taste. Users will be able to select from a palette of different colors (pictured below). One color can be used for the back case and another can be selected for the trim of the phone. Users will also be able to engrave a name or message on the back cover as well as upload a personal photo through a website to be used as the wallpaper on the phone’s screen.

Update : According to WSJ, Google is expected to spend half a billion dollars on marketing of its next flagship smartphone Moto X.

Update – Motorola’s next flagship has been leaked in a demo video from Rogers Wireless. It looks like Google is going to launch it very soon.

Update : Motorola’s next flagship smartphone Moto X will be officially unveiled at a press event in New York on August 1.

Update : According to new leaked image (pictured below) from AndroidPolice, Moto X will feature 4.7-inch 720p display, 1.7GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB RAM, 10.5MP camera, 16GB storage and 2200mAh non removable battery.

Update : Moto X will be the most affordable high end smartphone in the market. The prices will start from $299 (£195) for 16GB version and $349 (£225) for 32GB version.

Update : According to latest leak, the Moto X will come with a new Moto Magic Glass (pictured below), a single layer of Gorilla Glass which is molded to a special polymer to make for a continuous surface that wraps around the entire front and edges of the phone.
