Amazon will enter smartphone industry with a new flagship phablet device featuring Google’s latest Android 4.2 OS. It is also known by its codename, Amazon Blaze. The online retail giant has decided to go with latest trend by adding a large 5.3-inch display. The blaze was previously rumored to feature a 4.3-inch display but new reports suggest that Amazon’s first smartphone will pack 5.3-inch HD display. It will come pre-installed with Google’s Android 4.2 OS. There is no further information available on the phablet but it is expected to go on sale during Q3 of 2013. Update : According to Bloomberg, Amazon and HTC have been in talks to develop handsets for sale to users of the Amazon Prime service. Amazon wants to increase the number of devices that can access its Instant Video service and seeks to sell phones through subscriptions with carriers.
