Optimus GK is the next high end smartphone from korean manufacturer LG featuring Google’s Jelly Bean OS. In size, it only measures 139.1 x 69.9 x 9.9mm and weighs only 156g. The Optimus GK packs a 5-inch full HD IPS display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (441ppi pixel density). It is powered by Qualcomm’s 1.7GHz quad core Snapdragon 600 processor and 2GB RAM. For multimedia, Optimus GK features a 13 Mega Pixel rear camera capable of shooting 1080p videos and a 2 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi 802.11 b/g/n, microUSB 2.0 and GPS technology. The Optimus GK will come pre-installed with Google’s Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) OS. For storage, it comes with 16GB built-in memory and an additional microSD card slot. The Optimus GK also packs a powerful 3100mAh battery that LG is expecting to last whole day on single charge. There is no information available on the price and availability of the device but it is expected to go on sale during Q3 of 2013.
