Asus Fonepad


Asus Fonepad will be the next budget friendly tablet from taiwanese manufacturer Asus featuring Google’s latest Jelly Bean OS. It will be the first Asus tablet to feature an Intel processor. The Asus Fonepad will pack a 7-inch IPS display with the resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. It will be powered by an 1.2GHz Intel Z2420 processor with PowerVR SGX540 graphics and 1GB RAM. The Fonepad will come pre-installed with Google’s Jelly Bean (Android 4.1)OS. For multimedia, Fonepad will come with a 3 Mega Pixel rear camera and a 1.6 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls. For connectivity, it will support Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi 802.11 b/g/n and 3G mobile connections. The Fonepad will come in three different version depending on the internal memory (8GB, 16GB & 32GB). In addition to that it will come with a microSD card slot. The Fonepad will also come with a powerful 4270mAh battery. There is no further information available on the tablet but it is expected to ba launched at MWC 2013 later this month. Stay tuned for more updates or follow @harrym20 on Twitter.
