IPad 5 will be the fifth generation tablet from Cupertino giant Apple featuring next generation iOS 7 operating system. It will also be the successor to latest flagship tablet iPad 4. The iPad 5 will be a completely redesigned tablet in comparison to previous iPads. The new design will be based on Apple’s latest flagship devices like iPhone 5 and iPad Mini. IPad 5 will feature a 9.7-inch Retina display with improved resolution. There is no further information available on iPad 5 but rumors are that it will be launched during Q3 of 2013. Update : Apple’s fifth generation iPad 5 is rumored to launch this fall and will be the thinnest iPad ever. According to latest leak from Fanaticfone, iPad 5 will measure 24 x 16.8 x 7.2mm and weighs only 100g. The site has also published new images (pictured below) of iPad 5’s rear shell.
Update : New iPad 5’s components (Digitizer and front display panel) are leaked on tech site Macrumors. The display area is same as iPad Retina and the edges of frame are thinner which confirms earlier rumors that iPad 5 design will be the based on iPad Mini.
