Nexus 4

Nexus 4 is the fourth generation and the first Nexus device made by korean manufacturer LG. Nexus 4 is the official name for the previously rumored Optimus Nexus and LG Nexus 4. In size, it measures 133.9 x 68.7 x 9.1mm and weighs only 139g. Nexus 4 will feature a 4.7-inch TrueHD IPS+ display with the resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels. It will be powered by 1.5GHz quad core krait processor and 2GB RAM. Nexus 4 will come pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean OS). For multimedia, Nexus 4 will feature 8 Mega Pixel rear camera capable of shooting 1080p videos and 1.3 Mega Pixel front facing HD camera. For connectivity, Nexus 4 will support Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi 802.11 b/g/n and NFC technology. For Storage it will come with two variants : 8GB and 16GB internal memory. Nexus 4 will come with a 2100mAh non removable battery that give talk time of 15.3 hour and standby time of 390 hours. In addition to that Nexus 4 will support wireless charging. LG and Google officially announced Nexus 4 on Oct 29. Nexus 4 will be available to purchase from Nov 13 and will cost £239 for 8GB & £279 for 16GB model. Nexus 4 will compete against other flagship smartphones like Apple iPhone 5, HTC 8X, Nokia Lumia 920 and HTC One X+. Stay tuned for more updates or follow @harrym20 on Twitter.

Update : LG officially unveiled the White Nexus 4 on May 28th. The smartphone will be available in Hong Kong from tomorrow. Rest of the markets will get Nexus 4 in coming few weeks.

Update : Google have lowered the price of Nexus 4 and now offers 25% discount in selected markets. The Nexus 4 8GB will now retail for $199 (£159) and the 16GB version will cost $349 (£279).
