BlackBerry Aristo

BlackBerry Aristo is the codename for next generation BlackBerry which for the first time will feature a quad core processor. The Aristo will feature a 4.65-inch OCTA Glass OLED display with the resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. In size, it only measures 136 x 68 x 8.85mm. Aristo will be powered by Qualcomm’s 1.5GHz quad core Krait processor and 2GB RAM. For connectivity, it will support Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi 802.11 b/g/n, NFC technology, MicroUSB, MicroHDMI and LTE mobile connections. BlackBerry Aristo will come with a non removable 2800mAh battery which is a significant upgrade from current generation of BlackBerry smartphones. There is no further information available on this device but rumors are that Aristo will be launched during Q2 of 2013. Overall, Aristo is really impressive with its quad core processor and 2800mAh battery. This will significantly improve productivity on a BlackBerry smartphone. RIM is certainly moving in right direction and might just surprise everyone with its BlackBerry 10 portfolio which includes BlackBerry Z10 and BlackBerry Q10. The BlackBerry Aristo will compete against other quad core powered smartphones like Apple iPhone 5S, Samsung Galaxy S IV and HTC One. Stay tuned for more updates or follow @harrym20 on Twitter.

    • The good news is that the new leaks about this future flagship smartphone came from an US carrier. This means Aristo will get a worldwide launch during the end of Q3 of 2013.
