HP Bender is the codename for the latest and first flagship smartphone to feature Android 4.0. HP will re enter smartphone market after it discontinued WebOS last year. This time around HP smartphones will run Google’s Android 4.0. The new smartphone will feature 4.3-inch HD display with the resolution of 1366 x 720 pixels. It will be powered by dual-core SnapDragon processor and 1GB RAM. HP Bender will run Google’s Android 4.0. This is a real surprise from the company. Rumors were that HP’s new smartphone will run Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 or its own WebOS. Update : Hp CEO Meg Whitman confirmed that hp won’t be launching any smartphone till 2014. So this is bad news for already struggling company. Hp’s next flagship smartphone is rumored to launch during the first half of 2014.
Update : According to new rumors, Hp is rumored to launch an Android phablet in the coming weeks. It will feature a 5.5-inch display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The Hp phablet is expected to cost under $200 and will compete against other budget friendly phablets from Samsung, Huawei and ZTE.
