HTC One S
HTC One S is the latest mid-range smartphone from taiwanese manufacturer HTC. HTC One S is the thinnest HTC smartphone to date with only 7.8mm thick and features 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display with resolution of 540 x 960 pixels (~256 ppi pixel density). In dimensions it measures 130.9 x 65 x 7.8mm. The powerhouse of One S are 1.5GHz dual-core processor and 1GB RAM. Dual core processor makes the device really fast and OS lags are things of past. For multimedia, One S has 8 Mega Pixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash. It also supports 1080p video recording with features like geo-tagging and face detection.
Other main features included are HTC Sense UI 4.0, wifi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB v2.0, GPS navigation technology, accelerometer, proximity sensor and a standard Li-ion 1650 mAh. HTC One S is launched on Feb 26 at Mobile World Congress and will be available globally by the end of April 2012. Update : HTC have announced that all HTC One customers will get up to 25GB of free storage for 2 years on all Sense 4.0 devices. That’s enough to keep more than 10,000 high quality photos. Dropbox is also integrated throughout HTC Sense 4, so its even easier to edit, save & share your documents.
Update : HTC confirms that One S will not be upgraded to Google’s latest Android 4.2.2 OS.
