HTC M8 is rumored to be the codename for next flagship smartphone from Taiwanese manufacturer HTC featuring Google’s Android 4.3 OS. It will be the successor to latest flagship HTC One (pictured above). The HTC M8 will feature a 5-inch full HD display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s 2.3GHz quad core Snapdragon 800 processor with Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB RAM. The M8 will come pre-installed with Android 4.3 OS. The next flagship is expected to launch sometime in February next year (maybe close to Mobile World Congress 2014 event). Stay tuned for more updates or follow @harrym20 on Twitter.

Update : HTC M8 is rumored to be the first smartphone to feature HTC’s next generation Sense 6.0 UI.

Update : According to a leaked image (pictured above), HTC M8 will come in different variety of colors and will feature a fingerprint scanner for extra security. The fingerprint scanner will be placed on top of camera module.

Update: According to a new rumor from Digitimes, HTC’s next flagship smartphone will feature sapphire home buttons to incorporate fingerprint recognition scanner. It is expected to launch by the end of Q1 2014.

Update : HTC’s next flagship smartphone is rumored to feature a twin-sensor Ultrapixel camera at back which will provide better focus and great picture quality. The Bloomberg report also states that HTC is expected to launch its next flagship smartphone in March 2014.

Update : HTC’s next flagship smartphone HTC M8 press image (pictured below) is leaked ahead of its official launch. If this image is authentic then it somehow confirms previous rumors that M8 will feature dual cameras at back. In addition to that it looks like HTC’s next flagship smartphone will come with a notification LED on the front.

Update : According to a new promotional material from Australian carrier Telstra, HTC’s next flagship smartphone will be officially known as “All New HTC One”. It will feature a 5-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 800 processor, dual cameras at back and Sense 6.0 UI. The dual-cameras at back will allow the user to choose the focus and create special 3D effects.

Update : According to GSMArena report, HTC’s next flagship smartphone “All New One” will feature a 5-inch 1080p display, 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 processor, 2600mAh battery, 5MP front facing camera,16GB built-in memory, micro-SD card slot and Android 4.4 OS. In size, it measures 146.36 x 70.6 x 9.35 and weighs 160g.
